China , Brazil, Germany and Netherlands indicate interest to participate in 7th Kwara Trade fair

Countries from the Economic Community for West African States, People's Republic of China, Brazil, Germany and Netherlands have indicated interest to participate in the seventh Kwara Trade Fair 2018.

The President of the Kwara Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture, Doctor Ahmed Raji disclosed this at a Press Conference and signing of Memorandum of Understanding with ANISTA Marketing and Events Limited, held at the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Press Centre.

Doctor Raji who explained that all is set for the trade fair which would hold between March twenty sixth to eighth of April this year was aimed to promote enabling business environment to thrive, serve as platform for employment generation and youth empowerment.

He added that the trade fair with the theme "development of Small and Medium Enterprises:Panacea for the growth and development of Nigeria", would showcase the state local businesses to the international community.

Doctor Ahmed Raji said this year's Kwara Trade Fair would attract large turnout of local and international exhibitors, investors and entrepreneurs.

Doctor Raji who was represented by the Chairman of the Planning Committee of the Trade Fair, Mr. Abdulfatah Ayodimeji, stressed the need to grow the real sector of the economy, urging government at all levels to address challenges imitating against conducive business environment.

He therefore solicited the support of Journalists to contribute positively towards ensuring the success of the Fair in improving and promoting businesses in the state and complementing government's efforts at enhancing the economic growth and development of the state.

Also speaking, the representative of the ANISTA, Mrs. Bolcit Patience Barshep, said professionalism would be guaranteed to ensure the success of the trade fair.

Speaking on behalf of the Kwara State Government, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Commerce and Cooperatives, Alhaji Bayo Onimago noted that the state government provided tax holidays for some entrepreneurs to improve business environment in the state.
