Kwara legislators to wear made in Nigeria dress in solidarity

Members of the Kwara State House of Assembly has resolved to back up their campaign of patronise made in Nigeria goods by wearing locally produced dresses every Wednesdays for preliminary.

This is as the legislators called on government agencies, government contractors to begin to patronise made in Nigeria products, especially, electrical products owned by an indigenous Kwaran, to promote the industry.

This was part of the resolutions of the House, following Motion on Notice, raised by a member representing Ilorin North West Constituency Hon. Abdul Rafiu Abdul Rahman.

Reading the resolutions of the House, the Speaker, Dr. Ali Ahmad, said "the Legislature unanimously resolved , to appreciate, the Senate President, Dr. Bukola Saraki for the campaign to patronise the usage of local Products.

"The House, equally resolved to pick a day for the representatives of the three arms of government to visit the company, with a view to appreciating the ingenuity of the efforts and promoting the industry.
