Behold, a Chief Magistrate Court!
Residents have appealed to the Kwara State Government to carry out repairs on the structures of the Chief Magistrate Court, Sango, Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, which are in a state of disrepair.
Apart from the fact that the buildings are dilapidated, the whole premises of the court are bushy and ridden with snakes.
The City Rove visited the court last week, it was observed that the court is virtually not habitable and difficult to identify as an arena where criminal justice system is taking place.
The court has no toilet for the court Staff and Magistrate, while the court hall has broken louvres and fallen roof and abestos.
A peep into some offices of the court also revealed bare or complete absence of furniture and the roof leaks whenever it rains.
