Kwara United have recalled their suspended coach, Tunde Sanni after he was asked to leave the team following their loss to Kano Pillars in the Federation Cup.

Assistant coach Ali Zubair took over and also lost the last game 3-2 in the Federation Cup to Crown of Ogbomosho.

Major football stakeholders in Kwara State pleaded with the management board of the club to recall suspended coach and the Board has ordered him back to his duty post. 

The Board under the chairmanship of Barrister Bamidele Aluko appreciated the concern and interest shown by the football stakeholders for the State darling Club and decided that the coach should return to his position as coach.

The club's media officer Olayioye Ajide however said that Tunde Sanni was recalled with the condition to win the remaining league matches.

"Tunde Sanni is back and the management has mandated him to win the remaining matches in the Nigeria Premier League. That is one of the conditions the management will consider before they decide what will happen next season.

"The coach will be in charge when Kwara United travel to Ado Ekiti to face Rising Stars on Sunday. The Board declared that at this crucial period of the season, Kwara United FC cannot afford to drop any point to enhance the club's standing on the league table.

"The management board also appealed to football lovers in the state to keep faith and support the team in the remaining league matches," Ajide said .

Kwara United are placed 15th on the log with 46 points.
