Unilorin to partner Chinese Govt. on agric development

Vice-Chancellor of University of Ilorin, Prof. AbdulGaniyu Ambali, on Wednesday said the institution had concluded arrangements to partner with the Chinese Government in the field of agriculture.

Ambali, in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) in llorin, said that the university would soon sign a Memorandum of Understanding on the commencement of the partnership.

He said that the partnership would further boost agricultural activities at the institution's Faculty of Agriculture.

Ambali reaffirmed the readiness of the institution to also partner with other government agencies, institutions, organisations and individuals to enhance development in the university.

On students' accommodation, the vice-chancellor said that more than half of the students of the institution now reside on campus.

He urged corporate bodies, individuals and organisations to partner with the university in its bid to provide more accommodation for the students. (NAN)
