The kwara state police command today said peace has returned to shaare-tsaragi communities, saying that the delegate sent by the state commissioner of police Olusola Amore had met with both monarchs of the communities in a bid to ensure peace in the area.

Speaking with RoyalTimes correspondent, the state police Public Relation Officer DSP Ajayi okasanmi explained that both monarchs of the communities had assured the police of accurate support. He said the command will do everything possible to arrest everyone connected to the crisis.

While describing the act of killings in share as criminal act, the police PRO said five suspects in connection to the killings had been arrested, noting that police and Army are still in both communities as part of efforts to ensuring peace.

It would be recalled that the Kwara State Governor, Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has condemned the dastardly murder of some farmers in Shaare, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the State by yet to be identified persons.
