?In a condolence message issued by his Media Aide, Shuaib Abdulkadir on Wednesday, Ahmad described Olanrewaju's demise as a great loss to journalism.

?The Speaker further described the deceased as a very committed journalist who stopped at nothing to promote the ethics of his profession, saying that he would be sorely missed not only by his colleagues but the state at large.

Ahmad however admonished members of the fourth estate of the realm to always be objective in their reportage and strive to have positive impact in the society.

He prayed Allah to forgive the deceased his sins, grant him Al-Janah Firdaus and give the family the ?fortitude to bear the irreplaceable loss.

The Speaker also condoled the Chairman, Nigeria Union of Journalists ( NUJ), Kwara State, Comrade Abiodun AbdulKareem and Chairman of the Correspondents Chapel, Mr Layi Olanrewaju ?and entire journalists in the state over the loss.
