Nursing mothers advised on breast feeding
Nursing mothers in the country have again been advised to embrace exclusive breast feeding to ensure healthy growth of their children.
A promotion expert with the Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO) International, Nigeria, Mrs. Mary Umoh, gave the advice while featuring on a Radio Kwara Persoality interview programme "Playing Host."
Umoh also charged Nigerians to patronise local foods and desist from junk foods in view of a healthy vision.
The promotion expert condemned the high rate of Vitamin A deficiency in Nigeria and added that one, out of every five children, suffer from Vitamin A deficiency.
She implored parents to ensure appropraite guide for their children to enhance their growth.
Umoh also charged Nigerians to adequately take care and protect their eyes from dangerous object.
The promotion expert said the organisation will train people on the various areas of change and value charge to improve the economic sector.
She called for the support of all stakeholders in the health sector and agriculture and the medical to improve the living standard of the people.
