The Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development, Pharmacist Kale Ayo Nuhu has again reiterated government's resolve to renovate the dilapidated Indoor Sports Hall of the Kwara State Stadium Complex.

While briefing Kwara athletes at the Indoor Sports hall on Saturday ahead of the dinner in honour of outstanding athletes and officials in 2015 on Tuesday, Pharmacist Kale Ayo promised that better days are ahead for them. The dinner, organized by the Ministry of Sports and Youth Development will hold at the Banquet Hall, opposite Government House, Ilorin on Tuesday, beginning from 6.00pm.

Pharmacist Kale Ayo, after his normal keep fit exercise took time to visit some of the athletes during training, and also encouraged them to continue to do the state proud in all competitions.

He also reminded them that the 19th National Sports Festival will hold in Calabar in November, and that Kwara state will host the national Youth Games this year. He said that the renovation of the Indoor Sports hall has been catered for in the 2016 budget, and renovation will soon commence.

The Commissioner was welcomed to the Indoor Sports Hall by members of the Kwara Badminton Veterans, led by their captain, Sambo magaji, who commended the state government for supporting youth and sports development. He urged the state government to renovate the Indoor Sports hall and other facilities at the complex.
