Good Boys hail Ahmed
The last one year in office of the Kwara State Governor, Alhaji AbdulFatah Ahmed, has been described as eventful and remarkable period which the people at both rural and urban areas will never forget in the history of the state.
The Good Boys, in a release signed by their President and Public Relations Officer, Alhaji Olusola Abdullahi and Alhaji Dele Bosewa Lawal respectively said within the governor's one year in office, he had touched the lives of almost everybody in the state by spreading the dividend of democracy indiscriminately.
Felicitating with the Governor, the Good Boys said that Goverrnor Ahmed has truly demonstrated that "We can still have a better Kwara".
According to them, "the governor's steps in education, which have made it affordable everybody by removing fees at primary and secondary schools and the reduction of fees at Kwara State University (KWASU), will in no doubt make every Kwaran and non-Kwaran have sense of belonging and feel the impact of our great party the PDP."
The release commended him over his Kwara Bridge Empowerment ' Scheme (KWABES) programme and the recent absorption of thousands of members of the programme into the mainstream of the civil service, saying the governors programmes were those that have brought relief to everybody in the state regardless of political affiliation.
The Good Boys equally praised Ahmed's administration for his efforts in the health sector which had seen to the renovation and construction of many hospitals and health centres at both rural and urban areas and loans to civil servants among others, saying that the governor'others, saying that the governor's actions had really shown that PDP is a grassroots party which all members should be proud of. They commended Senator Bukola Saraki for his leadership quality and the solid foundation he laid which his successor is building upon and prayed to God that the Governor and Senator Saraki succeed in their day-to-day activities
