Man,18, Docked For Defiling Minor
An 18-year- old man, Kazeem Ajao has been arraigned before an Ilorin Magistrate court for allegedly defiling a minor.
The suspect was arraigned on one court charge of adultery contrary to section 387 of the penal code.
According to the Police First Information Report (FIR), one AbdulLateef Babatunde of Ile Kasa Gaa Odota, Ilorin reported at 'D' division Adewole, Ilorin that one Kayode Joseph of Odota area, Ilorin induced his daughter (name withheld) aged 13 years "and has been having sexual intercourse with the said girl."
The FIR further stated that "Kayode Joseph was arrested while others are still at large. Later, information has it that Kazeem Ajao has been having extra marital intercourse with the girl".
The suspect pleaded not guilty to the offence.
In his ruling, Magistrate Jumoke Bamigboye admitted the suspect to bail in sum of N50, 000:00 with two sureties in the like sum and adjourned the case till September 10, 2015 for mention.
