An aide of Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of Kwara State, Mr. Segun Karunwi has urged the people of Magaji Are ward 1 and Ward 2 of Ilorin East area of the state to troop out en masse on Saturday and vote for the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the governorship election.

Mr. Karunwi in a statement in Ilorin, yesterday, commended the electorate of the two wards for their massive support for the APC in the last election, assuring that their efforts would be rewarded with more government presence in the areas.

According to him, "their turn-out was massive in the last election and the electorate's efforts must be acknowledged and appreciated particularly with more presence of the government efforts, if Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed of APC is re-elected in next week's election.

Mr Karunwi who was also an aide of Senator Bukola Saraki when he was the governor of Kwara state urged the electorate to remain peaceful and conduct themselves in an orderly manner while casting their ballot in the next election.

He also commended various security aides in the state for performing their professional roles towards ensuring a peaceful election across the state.

"The various security agencies did very well by displaying a very high professionalism in ensuring a peaceful elections,this need to be acknowledged, for an improved and better performance in the next election. The same goes with INEC staff and the youth corps members who performed their duties creditably well", he said.
