Kwara State's Basketball Premier League team, Kwara Falcons, are set to resume preparations for the 2014/2015 DStv Premier Basketball League in Ilorin, their home ground.

According to the chairman of the Kwara State Basketball Association, Joseph Adeyemo, a new head coach and assistant coach are also expected to resume with the team.

The association had earlier called for applications from coaches interested in handling the team.

Kwara Falcons will play against Delta Force, Islanders, Union Bank, Customs, Police Baton, Oluyole Warriors and Dodan Warriors in the Atlantic Conference, between March 13 and July 3, when the best six will be determined.

Each of the eight teams will play seven matches in the first round, from March 13 to May 8, when they will go on two weeks' break and resume again on May 22 for the second round. The All Stars game has been scheduled to hold on May 15, 2015.

This season will witness the introduction of conference play-offs, among the six teams at the home of the team that placed sixth, while the top four would qualify for the final eight play-offs.

Kwara Falcons will begin their campaign this season at home to islanders on March 13, and will play Oluyole Warriors in Ibadan in their second match.
