Atunwa also assisted Masalasi ile Gogoro, also in the local government area, with N1 million for the facility’s upkeep.
The Speaker, who gave out N100, 000 towards the completion of another ongoing juma’at mosque, said the gesture became imperative in order to make places of worship decent.
He noted that religions play significant role in the moral and spiritual uplift of mankind and assured that he would always work towards ensuring a viable and egalitarian society.
The imams of the affected mosques lauded Atunwa for the gesture and prayed Allah to grant him electoral success.
They urged other well-to-do Muslims to emulate him to further ensure spiritual development in the society.
