The out of contract head coach of the Afonja Warriors has expressed his desire to continue as the Technical Adviser of the club he led to the Nigeria Premier League.

Samson Unuanel has indicated interest to continue with Kwara United for next league season.

Unuanel ensured that the Ilorin based side returned to the elite division despite having about 90 percent of their players leaving the club for greener pastures following their relegation to the Pro League.

The former Ocean Boys and Super Falcons' coach said he would like to continue from where he stopped if given the chance by the Kwara state government.

"I will not like to force myself on the people of Kwara State but if I am offered the job again, I would accept it because I will like to continue from where I stopped," Unuanel told Goal.

"It was very difficult in the lower league but we thank God that we were able to surmount the trials faced to get the much needed ticket."

Kwara United, Wikki Tourists, 3SC and Gabros United are the four clubs that gained promotion to the premier league at the end of hostilities in the lower league last season.
