Pro-Buhari group slams PDP scribe on semi-illiterate comment

Date: 2014-12-26

A group, Muhammadu Buhari Legacy Foundation (MBLF) has slammed Prof. Wale Oladipo, PDP National Secretary, for describing General Buhari as "semi-illiterate jackboot."

Bode Towoju, Coordinator of the Kwara State chapter of the group in a statement issued in Abuja yesterday, said the comment signifies irresponsibility adding it is unfortunate.

Towoju said calling a former Head of State who passed through all the military training and courses without recording any form of failure, a semi-illiterate, was an insult and injustice to the person of Buhari.

He warned the PDP scribe to stop throwing tantrum at the APC presidential candidate and concentrate on issues that could motivate voters to vote the APC.

Towoju who said Nigerians would decide who is fit to govern the country at the 2015 general elections stressed that the APC is ready to dislodge the PDP through its issue- based campaign and would not join the PDP in their gutter language.

According to him, the APC and its Presidential candidate will not succumb to campaign of calumny against the party. He called on Nigerians to massively support the candidacy of General Muhammadu Buhari, who he said has that "magic wand" to put the nation on the right track.
