The group stated this on Wednesday during a special prayer organized in honour of the Founder of Darul Kitab Wassunna College of Arabic Studies and Pioneer Chairman of the Board, Sheikh Dr. AbdulKadir Oba-Solagberu, at his GRA residence.

The prayer was led by the National Missioner of the Foundation, Sheikh Husein Musa-Arikewusola and other prominent Islamic scholars across the state. He urged islamic clerics to rally round the board for the promotion of peaceful co-existence as well as upliftment of religious doctrines across the state.

The cleric described Dr. Oba-Solagberu who is also the National President of the Foundation as an astute Islamic scholar of international repute who is always passionate the well-being of the downtrodden as well as the propagation of the teachings of Arabic and Islamic studies.

Nigerian Pilot reports that the Executive Governor of Kwara State, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, yesterday sworn in Sheikh Dr. AbdulKadir Oba-Solagberu as the Chairman of the Board alongside Alhaji Yahya Maisuna, Alhaji Maisuna Yahya, Mallam Ally Bello, Mallam Armiyahu Lukman, Mallam Yusuf Sulaiman Al Gamawiy, Mallam Fatai Mohammed Jamiu, and Mallam Yaqub Abdullah.

The occasion was witnessed Proprietors of Arabic schools, Arabic Stakeholders, Management, staff and students of Arabic institutions, Islamic clerics as as well as Islamic Organizations across the state.
