Hajj: Kwara airlifts last batch
The last batch of 2014 intending pilgrims from Kwara State has been airlifted to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this year's Hajj.
The last batch of 457 pilgrims including officials of the state Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board, left Ilorin International Airport at about 6:28pm on Saturday.
They joined 1500 pilgrims from the state who had left for Saudi Arabia since last week.
The Herald correspondent gathered that all the 1957 pilgrims from the state landed safely in Saudi Arabia.
