Ahmed urges more action for Chibok girls
Kwara State Governor Alhaji Abduldfatah Ahmed has urged Nigerians not to relent in their prayers for the release of the abducted schoolgirls in Borno State.
Ahmed spoke at an interdenominational service to mark his third year in office.
The governor who was represented by the Deputy Governor, Elder Peter Kishira, noted that fervent prayers would go a long way in restoring peace in the country.
Also speaking, state chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Comrade Kazeem Adekanye, also solicited for prayers for peace and security in the country.
In his message, the Minister-in--Charge of the church, Rev. Olawuyi James, urged Nigerians to unite against insecurity and tasked government at all levels to imbibe justice, fairness and well being of the citizens.
