Prof. Shehu Jimoh's Death, Shocking - Gov. Ahmed

Kwara State Governor Dr Abdulfatah Ahmed has described the death of Professor Shehu Jimoh as shocking and a monumental loss to the State and the nation’s education sector.

Governor Ahmed, in a condolence message signed by his Chief Press Secretary, Alhaji Abdulwahab Oba recalled that Late Shehu Jimoh, a Professor of Education Psychology was one of the shining lights and a colossus in the education sector who contributed immensely to the education development of Nigeria for many decades.

Dr Ahmed noted that Professor Jimoh will remain dear to lovers of education whenever they recall his contributions to education including his membership of technical committees on the establishment of Al-Hikmah University, Kwara State University Malete, Crescent University, Abeokuta and as a provost of College of Education, Oro.

The Governor prayed Allah to grant the soul of Professor Shehu Jimoh, who was until his death the Chairman, Governing Council, Kwara State Polytechnic eternal rest and the family the fortitude to cope with the loss.
