Kwara Suspends Sack of 128 College of Education, Ilorin Staff
In statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government, Alhaji Isiaka Gold, the state government said the decision became necessary because the College failed to follow due process in carrying out the exercise.
Alhaji Gold therefore directed the Provost of the College of Education, Ilorin to forward the list of affected staff to the relevant statutory committees for review and eventually to the Governing Council of the College for ratification.
The SSG reminded all Ministries, Departments and Agencies of government in the state to always follow laid down administrative procedures, especially for staff recruitment and discipline, in the overall interest of all concerned.
