The Council in a statement jointly signed by the Chairman, Abdulwaheed Bibire and the Secretary, Olayinka Owolewa expressed confidence in the ability of Chukwemeka to further develop sports reportage in Nigeria.

It noted that his appointment into the National Executive of SWAN would add more values to the crops of new national leadership and enhance professionalism in sports reportage.

The Council urged the Director of Football of Abubakar Bukola Saraki Ilorin FC, to sustain the virtues of integrity, hardwork, commitment and resilience in developing and promoting sports development in Kwara and Nigeria as a whole.

According to the statement, the appointment is no doubt in recognition of his outstanding contributions as dependable ally who has consistently made impact in successes of SWAN in past years.

Kwara SWAN also described his appointment as a strong pillar to the success of Saidu Abubakar-led executives and hitch-free Triennial Delegates Congress held in Ilorin which brought in Honour Sirawoo-led executive council.

The Council advised the Ex-officio to bring his wealth of experience to bear in his new national assignment with a view to making SWAN break new grounds and remain a voice to be reckoned with in sports sector in Nigeria and beyond.
