Kwara United targets Glo League promotion
Kwara United are presently occupying the second position in Group A of the National League II table with 40 points from 24 matches, but Maigidansanma believes the team has what it takes to win their remaining matches and gain promotion to the elite league.
According to him, the prompt release of funds by the state government for the payment of salaries and allowances of the players has contributed to the good run of the team in the National League, even as he promised that the players are more determined now to bring back the lost glory of the club by qualifying for the Glo Premier League next season.
“I want to assure our fans that we are on course to qualify for the Glo Premier League and the players are very determined to achieve that goal. “Kudos must go to the Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed for the prompt release of funds to the club which has contributed to players’ dedication, discipline and the successes we have recorded in the league.
Maigidansanma noted that the team is fully prepared to take the three points at stake when they confront Group A leaders Wikki Tourists this weekend in Ilorin.
