In his Easter message to the people, Aluko further congratulated Christian faithful for the successful completion of the lenthen fasting period urging them to imbibe the attitudes of tolerance, humility, patience and peaceful co-existence as exemplified by Jesus Christ.

?He said : "The lessons of love, humility, selflessness, forgiveness and perseverance shown by the Lord Jesus Christ should be emulated by all Nigerians at all times especially at this critical period in our nation's history."

He pointed out that although Christ underwent very trying and difficult times in order to bring salvation to man, he never gave up but persevered and triumphed in the end.

The Deputy Governorship hopeful however said the salvation brought to mankind by Christ should not be taken for granted and admonished Kwarans to look up to God for solutions to the lingering problems.

?While advising the people of the state to wisely vote for visionary leaders who will further guide them through eternal salvation and economic freedom, the PDP chieftain enjoined Christians to pray for the successful completion of the forthcoming April 11, 2015 governorship and House of Assembly elections.
