50 youths benefit from skills acquisition programme in Ilorin
Coordinator of the initiative, Mr Abdul Bala, said in Ilorin on Monday that the foundation was targeting no fewer than 5,000 youths.
He said the programme was designed to educate, guide and support 5,000 unemployed youths in Kwara State in undergoing relevant courses that would make them employers of labour rather than job seekers.
Bala said arrangement was in place under the programme to engage trainers for internship programmes with reputable organisations.
He said the founder of MOF, Dr Mike Omotosho, was determined to engage the state’s youths positively.
Omotosho, who is also the Labour Party’s governorship candidate in the state, said empowerment would enhance absolute freedom for youths.
