Adeoye is new Unilorin ASUU Chairman
Dr. Adeoye, who was elected at a Congress of the Union held last Thursday (January 30, 2014) at the University Main Auditorium, takes over from Prof. Wahab Egbewole, who had led the Union since 2012.
Other members of the new Executive Committee are Dr Ajibade Lanre Tajudeen (Vice-Chairman), Dr. Balogun Patrick Olajide (Secretary General), Dr. (Mrs.) Lewu Mary (Financial Secretary), Dr. (Mrs.) Ibrahim Binta Fatima (Asst. General Secretary), Dr. Abubakar Sadiq Kasum (Treasurer) and Dr. U. A. Raheem (Auditor).
The election was witnessed by electoral officials from the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
