Members of the Kwara State House of Assembly will after today’s session which is their last, vacate the chamber for the next set of legislators, the Speaker of the House, Abdulazeez Babatunde Mohammed has said.

He added that there would be a three day induction programme for the in-coming members, and that it would commence immediately.

Mohammed called on chairmen of various committees of the House to expedite action on outstanding bills to ensure passage. The speaker said the outgoing legislature would during the three days induction, hold mock sessions between 10 and 11:30 am for the in-coming lawmakers.

The mock session according to him, is meant to give them an idea of how things are done in the Assembly. He commended the former governor of the state, Bukola Saraki for executing various development projects during his eight year administration.
