Kwara govt. trains 2,000 workers in 2 years
The Kwara Government has trained no fewer than 2,000 civil servants in the last two years.
The state Head of Service, Alhaji Mohammed Dabarako, made this known in Ilorin on Monday in an interview.
Dabarako said that the state government was determined to train and re-train its workforce in an effort to establish a virile civil service that would meet the current challenges.
He said the present administration in the state was committed to putting in place policies that would give necessary fillip to the welfare of civil servants in the state.
Dabarako also said government had refurbished the state secretariat as part of initiatives to provide an enabling working environment for workers.
He, however, advised workers to reciprocate government's gesture by being dedicated to their responsibilities.
