Kwara United Target 'Fantastic Five'
Nigeria Professional Football League side Kwara United are targeting bringing in five ‘quality’ players to help the team’s ambition this season Sola Ajide, the Media Officer of Ilorin based side has hinted.
Ajide said on Wednesday that the club has concluded arrangements to sign-on five additional players to boost the team.
Smart move
According to him, the latest move by the Afonja Warriors would enable the team to compete well in the ongoing Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL).
He expressed the confidence that the new players would help increase the performance of the club in the 2012/2013 NPFL title race.
-The club management is currently planning to sign-on an additional five quality players, to boost the team.
-`The team will be more formidable when these players are signed-on, to strengthen the club’s defence, midfield and the attack.
-We strongly believe that the new players will improve on the current form of our existing players," he said.
Unmasking
Ajide added that the names of the players would be made known to the public, as soon as the players were signed-on.
