Coach of Kwara United Samson Unuanel has rated his team high in their Nigeria Professional Football League campaign after week seven game.

United are placed 10th on the table, with nine points to show for their effort.

In the beginning

They started the season with a goalless draw with City rivals ABS, and went on to force a one all draw with Sunshine Stars in Ilorin.

Kwara United improved on their performance, and went on to beat Sharks 1-0 away in Port Harcourt, before earning another 1-0 victory over Heartland in Ilorin.

In their week five game, United suffered a 3-1 loss to Enugu Rangers in Enugu, and a home loss to a less fancied Nasarawa United, before forcing Enyimba to a scoreless draw in Aba last Sunday.

Still on track

With two wins, two loses and three draws so far, Unuanel believes his team is still on track, and has not performed badly.

-We’ve not done badly so far, he told futaa.com

-It has been a good run so far after seven games in the league, we are on 10th spot, which we hope to improve on.

-The season is still very young, and we will play all teams as they come.

United will play Nembe City in their next fixture on April 24 in Ilorin.
