The Deputy Chief Whip of the Kwara State House of Assembly and member representing Ilorin South Constituency, Hon. Maryam Yusuf Aladi, alongside the Ilorin South All Progressives Congress (APC) Chairman, Alh. Abdulakeem Jaji, has continued the second phase of a state-sponsored cash support disbursement to small-scale business owners and elderly residents in Akanbi Ward III.

The initiative, facilitated through the Kwara State Government under Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, is designed as a targeted financial intervention scheme set to benefit nearly 100 constituents across Ilorin South. The funds are aimed at boosting micro-enterprises, easing economic hardship, and supporting the welfare of elderly community members.

The disbursement exercise in Akanbi Ward III forms part of a broader constituency-wide rollout ensuring that verified beneficiaries receive the state government's financial relief.

Speaking on behalf of the constituents of Akanbi Ward III, Hon. Aladi expressed gratitude to Governor AbdulRazaq for extending the support program to the area, stating that the gesture provides essential relief to local entrepreneurs and senior citizens.
