Kwara United have concluded plans to unveil 10 new players this week as part of efforts to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026/27 football season.

Chairman of the club, Kumbi Titiloye, disclosed this while speaking with supporters in Ilorin, saying the recruitment drive is aimed at building a more competitive team capable of improving on last season's performance.

According to Titiloye, the club carefully selected the new signings to fill the gaps left by departing players while enhancing the overall quality of the squad.

"We are bringing in 10 new players, and they will be unveiled this week," Titiloye said.

He explained that the primary objective of the recruitment is to ensure the Harmony Boys are better equipped to compete favourably in the upcoming campaign.

"The objective is to strengthen the team and ensure we have a squad capable of competing favourably in the new season," he added.

The club chairman expressed confidence in the ability of the new recruits to make an immediate impact.

"Those players are good enough to replace the departed ones. Their sharpness, quality and urgency on the ball make them capable replacements, and we are confident they will add value to the team," Titiloye stated.

Kwara United are expected to officially present the new signings later this week as preparations intensify for the new Nigeria Premier Football League season.
