President Tinubu Lauds Emir Sulu-Gambari's Visionary Leadership on 30th Anniversary
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has praised the Emir of Ilorin, His Royal Highness, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, for his visionary and exemplary leadership as he celebrates 30 years on the throne.
The President lauded the revered Monarch, describing his reign as "one defined by courage, integrity, justice, and fairness." He commended the Emir's enduring contributions to peace and development in Ilorin and Kwara State generally, noting that "his collaborative leadership has fostered stability and unprecedented progress in the region."
President Tinubu also paid tribute to the Emir's illustrious service to Nigeria, particularly in the judiciary, where he distinguished himself as a Justice of the Court of Appeal. He recalled the Monarch's boldness and commitment to justice during the nation's democratic struggle, expressing personal gratitude for his support and integrity in the face of adversity.
Highlighting the Emir's continued service to the nation as Chancellor of Bayero University, Kano (BUK), President Tinubu described him as "a man of honour and dignity" whose influence extends beyond Ilorin to national development.
The President prayed for the Emir's continued good health and long life, wishing him many more impactful years on the throne.
