Kwara State Governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, has extended warm greetings to Muslims worldwide, particularly in Kwara State, as the Holy Month of Ramadan begins. In a statement, he expressed hopes that the month will bring “more blessings, spiritual fulfillment, and unity to all who observe the sacred fast.”

The governor specifically congratulated the Emir of Ilorin and Chairman of the Kwara State Council of Chiefs, Dr. Ibrahim Sulu-Gambari, CFR, on the dawn of Ramadan, a time of profound spiritual significance marked by the revelation of the Holy Qur'an to the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).

Governor AbdulRazaq urged Muslims across the state to embrace the month with devotion, reflecting on its core values of self-discipline, charity, and community solidarity.

Governor Abdulrazaq thanks Almighty Allaah for preserving our lives to witness another Ramadan, praying that He accepts our prayers and acts of worship, and blesses us with the spiritual fulfillments,forgiveness, and mercy that come with Ramadan.

The Governor also urges the community to spend the solemn month praying for a stronger, safer, and more prosperous nation and Kwara State.
