KWASIEC Issues Certificates of Return to Newly Elected Kwara LG Chairmen and Vice-Chairmen

As reported by Nigerian Tribune, the Chairman of the Kwara State Independent Electoral Commission (KWASIEC), Muhammad Baba-Okanla, has presented certificates of return to the newly elected local government chairmen and their vice-chairmen across the state.

While presenting the certificates on Sunday, Baba-Okanla affirmed that the electoral process followed appropriate steps and modalities from the beginning through to election day. He described the election as peaceful and orderly.

The KWASIEC chairman also highlighted that the results reflected the electorate's commitment to choosing their preferred candidates. Earlier on Sunday, Baba-Okanla had declared the results of Saturday's election, confirming the victory of all chairmanship and councillorship candidates from the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
