Kwara Governor Applauds Appointment of Ambassador Mohammed and Adeola Ajayi as Heads of NIA and DSS
As reported by the Kwara State Government Facebook page, Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has extended his warm congratulations to the newly appointed Directors-General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and the Department of State Services (DSS), praising them as outstanding professionals and wishing them successful tenures.
The Governor remarked that the appointment of the seasoned diplomat, Ambassador Mohammed Mohammed, a native of Lafiagi, to lead the NIA marks a significant new chapter in the agency's history.
He expressed his gratitude to President Bola Tinubu for selecting the Kwara-born diplomat, who previously served as the head of Nigeria's mission to Sudan.
Governor AbdulRazaq also commended the appointment of Mr. Adeola Ajayi, a highly skilled senior operative with a history of handling sensitive operations, as the new head of the DSS.
He called on all stakeholders to support the new appointees and prayed that Almighty God grants them the wisdom to achieve greater accomplishments and enhance national security.
