Even as the new Premier league season is being savoured by football followers in Nigeria, Kwara United has expressed satisfaction with the technical knowledge of Coach Samson Unuanel who now heads the technical department of the club.

Media Officer of the Ilorin based side, Olayioye Ajide, noted that the club is satisfied with the recruitment of the coach  and all efforts will be geared towards supporting the Unuanel for him to take the team to the promised land next season.

Olayioye Ajide said the insinuation that he led Ocean Boys to relegation is sentimentally baseless as everyone knew the financial circumstances that caused the Brass Boys their place in the elite division.

Olayioye cautioned those who want to cause disaffection and distraction to the team  to desist and allow the technical crew led by Coach Samson Unuanel to concentrate rather than make sentimental reference to his exploit at Ocean Boys.

"I want to note that this comment is the brain child of those who have axe to grind with Coach Unuanel; however, that will not provoke the management board to doubt his technical ability because the appointment committee that scored him above all other applicants.

"We are happy with Unuanel and he has shown he is capable of doing well with the team next season".
"Coach Samson Unuanel is rated among Nigerian coaches who have handled great clubs in this country and his profile speaks volume and cannot be rubbished," Olayioye said.

Kwara United under the tutelage of Coach Unuanel is preparing for the league season with serious trainings and training matches even as the team will soon embark on the second phase of close camping.
