In his sermon, Imam-Solih urged the Muslim faithful to remain committed to the commandments of Almighty Allah at all times and shun acts capable of earning them His anger.
The cleric prayed for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for a successful tenure in office to the benefit of the entire citizens of the state and the nation in general.
The emir condemned the act of kidnapping and other social vices persisting in the nation and advised citizens to always support leaders with fervent prayers and obedience to deliver on their mandates.
Alhaji Sulu-Gambari advised worshippers to always conduct themselves peacefully and desist from overheating the polity, stressing that the Eid praying ground should not be turned into a battlefield or arena for political engagements.
