Kwara Rep., Yinka Aluko Condoles Dep. Gov. Over Mother's Demise
A Chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Member, representing Ilorin East/South Federal Constituency in the Federal House of Representatives, Dr. Ahmed Yinka Aluko, has mourned the passing of the Madam Ena Alabi, mother of the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, Mr. Kayode Alabi.
ROYAL NEWS reports that the nonagenarian passed away in the wee hours of Friday.
Aluko, in a condolence message made available yo journalists said: “It is with a heavy heart that I received the sad news of the passing of Mrs Ena Maud Alabi, the mother of the Deputy Governor of Kwara State, H.E. Kayode Alabi, a beloved brother and friend of ages.
“Mrs. Alabi lived a remarkable life, embodying the virtues of a devout Christian for 98 years. She was a mother who dedicated herself to a life of faith and service to humanity. Her transition yesterday, on Friday, April 5th, marks a significant point in the life of man.”
The lawmaker prayed God to grant the deceased eternal peace and “provide comfort to Deputy Governor Kayode Alabi and the entire family during this difficult time.”
“I also extend my heartfelt condolences to our executive governor, Mall. Abdulrahaman Abdulrazaq, and the entire state. May God's blessings continue to sustain our state during this period of mourning.”
