KWSG Reiterates Commitment to RMRDC
The Kwara State Government has reiterated its commitment to support Raw Materials Research Development Council (RMRDC) to identify raw materials that can be used for industrialization by Woo-be investors.
The State Commissioner for Business, Innovation and Technology, Hon. Damilola Yusuf Adelodun stated this when she recieved the State Coordinator and her Deputy from Raw Materials Research Development Council, in her office.
The Commissioner commended the Council for its efforts and acknowledged the importance of the RMRDC, which has the mandate to develop, identify and make available raw materials that can be used for industrialization by Woo-be investors in Kwara State.
Hon. Damilola assured the Council of the State government's support to Small Scale Industries through NG-CARES Grants Programme, Owo Isowo, Cash Transfer, Market Moni, Free Ferterlizers/Feeds to Farmers to eleminate porverty and support MESMES to thrive in the state.
She also emphasized the need for continuous collaboration with the State Government, Federal Government, Agencies and relevant Stakeholders to over come challenges and harness the potentials of the State.
Earlier, the State Coordinator of the Council, Mrs. Lydia Olufunke Adewunmi congratulated the Commissioner on her appointment, applauding the Kwara State Governor, Mallam AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq for creating enabling environment to industries to strive in the State.
The State Coordinator, highlighted the need for continued support and collaboration with the State Government to overcome challenges as well as unlock the full potentials of the State Woo-be investors.
While encouraging the Commissoner to visit the Council, Mrs. Adewunmi urged the Ministry to assist other Small Scale Enterprenuers in need of Government assistance to tackle the challenges on multiple taxations, which are hindering the growth of these businesses.
