Hajj: Another batch of Kwara pilgrims return to Nigeria
Another batch of 269 Muslim Pilgrims from Kwara State returned on Wednesday to Ilorin after performing the hajj rites in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
It was the second batch of Kwara state pilgrims to arrive from the 2023 holy pilgrimage in the Saudi Arabian kingdom.
The pilgrims departed Jeddah International Airport aboard Air Peace aircraft on Wednesday, and arrived at the Ilorin International Airport at about 1:38 pm.
About 3,740 pilgrims performed the 2023 pilgrimage exercise through the state's Muslim Pilgrims' Welfare Board.
The first batch, which convened 272 pilgrims from the state, had earlier arrived home last Wednesday.
Another batch of pilgrims from the state is expected back home, as NAHCON has assured that all arrangements have been put in place to ensure that all licenced Nigerian carriers will begin to operate their inbound flights to Nigeria optimally.
