Kwara State Governor/Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) Chairman AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated members of the Kwara State House of Assembly on their inauguration into the 10th parliament.

The Governor specifically commended the House members for the smooth election of a new leadership under the Rt. Hon. Yakubu Danladi-Salihu, who was returned to his seat unopposed.

“This seamless transition, including the re-election of the Speaker and emergence of Hon. Emmanuel Ojo Oyebode as the Deputy Speaker, speaks to the maturity of the lawmakers and their commitment to stability, collective prosperity, and growth of our state,” according to a Government House statement on Tuesday.

“The Governor urges the lawmakers to continue to prioritise public good and unity of our people in the discharge of their legislative responsibilities. He prays to God to guide the lawmakers as they assume the duties of making laws for the good governance of Kwara State.”
