Kwara to Blacklist Failed Contractors

The Governor of Kwara State, Dr. Abdulfatah Ahmed has assured Kwarans that his administration would blacklist any contractor who failed to execute projects to specification and within the approved timeline.

Governor Ahmed said this yesterday at Share, headquarters of Ifelodun Local Government Area of the state while paying unscheduled visits to a number of ongoing projects in the town.

Governor Ahmed asserted that the government would not allow wastage of the state meagre resources.

He added that unscheduled visits to all the ongoing projects would be a continuous exercise and contractors whose performance fall below expectation would have their contract revoked.

The governor affirmed that all communities in the state would benefit from his administration's transformation agenda.

The projects he inspected include General Hospital, Water Works, Police Intelligence Academy and road projects under-construction.
