Man, 19, Remanded For Raping Student In Kwara Hostel
An Ilorin magistrates' court has ordered the remand of a 19-year-old man, Adam Mohammed, for raping students of the Kwara State University, Malete.
The prosecutor, Moshood Adebayo, told the police that the victim reported that a man entered her hostel, threatened her with sharp objects and had sexual intercourse with her.
He told the court that after the suspect was arrested he confessed to be the one who raped the victim.
The Magistrate, A. S. Muhammed, ordered that Mohammed be kept in a correctional facility till February 24.
