Opinion: Gov. Ahmed, come to our aid in Isapa, Kwara State
I am using this medium to draw the attention of the Kwara State governor, Alhaji Abdulfatah Ahmed, to the problems the indigenes of Isapa in Ekiti Local Government Area of Kwara State are currently facing.
Lack of motorable roads is one of the key problems we are facing in our town. There is no gainsaying the fact that the bad condition of roads in our town had caused a lot of problems.
During the regime of former governor Mohammed Lawal, of blessed memory, the road was awarded for construction but no one could explain why the road still remained a death-trap. When the immediate past Governor- Dr Bukola Saraki was on the saddle, the issue was not addressed at all.
I, therefore, draw the attention of Governor Ahmed to our pressing need. Presently, the condition of the road had gone from bad to worse for motorists and commercial motorcyclists. The indigenes of Isapa in Kwara State are part of the 16 local government areas of the state. Therefore, I implore the Kwara State government to spread its hands of magnanimity to our commuity by taking urgent action on this abandoned road project in the area.
Also, Community High School, Isapa, is in dire need of a modern library. The school had been in existence for a long time without a modern library.
There is no gainsaying the fact that the administration of Governor Ahmed can solve our problems.
I hope the governor will quickly order the reconstruction of the bad roads in the town, as well as the upgrade of other infrastructure in the town.
