Lam Adesina: Saraki Commierates with the People of Oyo State

Senator Bukola Saraki this afternoon, in a statement, commiserated with the people of Oyo State on the death of a former Governor of Oyo State Alhaji Lamidi Adeshina. Alhaji Lam Adeshi, as he was popularly known, died this morning in Ibadan.

Senator Saraki statement reads: "It was with heavy heart that I received the news of the passing away of Alhaji Lamidi Ona-Olapo Adesina, Former Governor of Oyo State. My thoughts and prayer goes out to his immediate family, I pray Allah grants them the patience and the fortitude to bear this irreplaceable loss.

"Alhaji Lam Adesina as he was fondly called, will forever remain in the memory of his people and all those who knew him closely. His invaluable contribution as an educationist, politician and statesman will not be easily forgotten.

"On behalf of the good people of Kwara Central and myself, I express my deepest sympathy and commiserate with Oyo State Governor, Senator Ajimobi and the good people of Oyo State."
