The Offa Descendants' Union, O.D.U, hereby warns indigenes to exercise restraints in circulating unauthorised statements on Offa and Erin-Ile boundary matter through video clips and messages on social media on behalf of Offa community.

The caution has become very imperative as such actions are capable of not only undermining the strategic reconciliatory efforts of the Kwara State Government but also casting shadow on the peaceful coexistence of the two communities.

Apart from Offa LGA and Olofa's Palace, ODU is the only body as the overall umbrella of all Offa indigenes saddled with the cardinal and statutory responsibility to make such official statement on the Offa - Erin-Ile boundary matter. Any other body or person doing it does so at his or her own peril.

ODU is working strategically with relevant stakeholders behind the scene to arrive at a lasting solution agreeable to the two communities.

ODU hereby welcomes any confidential information relevant to the peace building process embarked upon by the constituted authorities.
