Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has congratulated former military administrator of Bauchi and Osun states Chief Theophilus Bamigboye on his 70th birthday anniversary, calling him one of the shining lights of the state whose contributions to national developments stand tall.

"I congratulate His Excellency Chief Theophilus Bamigboye on his platinum jubilee today. He joins the family, friends and associates of the statesman to felicitate with him on the landmark occasion. Certainly, Retired Colonel Bamigboye is a towering figure who has served the country diligently. His current leadership roles in the Rotary International underscore his contributions and service to humanity," according to the Governor.

"On behalf of the people and government of Kwara State, I pray the Almighty God to grant the statesman good health and more rewarding years in the service of humanity while urging the senior citizen to continue to use his good standing in the society to strengthen government's peace and development efforts in the state."
