Kwara United lucky to get away with three points - Shuaib

Date: 2019-12-10

Mighty Jet Captain Olarenwaju Shuaib has blamed fatigue for his side’s defeat to Kwara United in Sunday’s Nigeria National league game is as a result of fatigue.

The Afonja Warriors pummeled the Jos based outfit 3-1 at Kwara state Township stadium on Sunday.

Speaking to www.brila.net after the game, Shuaib said it was unfortunate that the team lost, after playing well for the most part of the game.

He added that fatigue might be one of the reasons they failed to sustain their blistering start to the game.

“ We lost valuable points to Kwara United and it was unfortunate because we started well and dominated the game we conceded the goals.”

“ Maybe the boy got tired along the line, but we gave a good account of ourselves and should have left Ilorin with a point.”. He told brila.net.
