NIS promotes 293 officers in Kwara

Date: 2018-02-14

The Nigeria Immigration Service has promoted 293 officers in Kwara State.

The Comptroller-General, NIS, Mr. Mohammadu Babandede, was represented by the Kwara State Comptroller, Mrs. Abimbola Abiodun-Ojo, during the decoration of the officers on Wednesday in Ilorin.

He explained that out of the 293 elevated officers, 187 were senior staff, while 106 were in the junior cadre.

He urged them to be true to their oath of allegiance, adding that they should be galvanised with renewed commitment to the realisation of the NIS vision, mission and goals.

Babandede said their decoration represented a seal of trust and attestation from the Federal Government that they would be worthy ambassadors.

He urged those that were not promoted not to be dispirited but to be hopeful and patient for another opportunity.
